Consumer and Community Involvement in Research Workforce Advancement Program

The Consumer and Community Involvement in Research Workforce Advancement Program is an initiative of the Future Health Research and Innovation Fund.

The Program aims to increase the capacity of consumers to be involved in research, by providing dedicated research training to consumers, and to achieve the following outcomes:

  • Increased involvement of consumers in research projects/programs.
  • Consumers using their advanced skills to actively partner with researchers and other stakeholders in research projects/programs.

The Program will fund the design and delivery of research training modules which include practical research components, to support the development, skills and knowledge of the consumers in research, including in qualitative or quantitative methods.
