Research and Innovation Capacity and Capability Building Support
The Research and Innovation Capacity and Capability Building funding program provides support for sector wide health and medical research and/or innovation capacity and capability building initiatives.
Objectives of the program are to:
- Increase WAs national and international competitive grant income
- Attract health and medical researchers, innovators and investors to WA
- Provide a strong and collaborative research and innovation culture and ecosystem
- Increase the translation and/or commercialisation of health and medical research and/or innovation outcome
- Improve job security and sustainable career pathway options leading to better retention of health and medical researchers and innovators (particularly women and Aboriginal researchers and innovators).
