FHRI Fund Consumer and Community Involvement Support
The FHRI Fund Consumer and Community Involvement Support program (the Program) aimed to support consumer and community involvement (CCI) in research and innovation activity.
Funding was provided on a competitive basis to support CCI involvement in research and/or innovation ideation, development and writing of grant applications and for ongoing involvement in FHRI Fund and nationally supported research and innovation activities.
Applications with a primary purpose of addressing one of the following FHRI Fund Strategy Focus Areas were encouraged to apply:
- Aboriginal health or rural and remote health
- Burden of disease in WA
- COVID-19 and long COVID
- Mental health
Successful applicants were awarded funding of up to $25,000 to undertake CCI activities. Funded activities could include CCI payments, expenses associated with hosting CCI events, honorariums, consumer payments, other supplies and catering for CCI activities and travel directly related to the Activity. Funded activities were required to be completed within a 12-month period.
