WA Cohort Studies-Operational Support Program

The 2023-24 WA Cohort Studies - Operational Support Program (WACS-OSP) aimed to provide operational funding necessary for cohort studies to continue to contribute to the delivery of clinical outcomes, changes to health policy and translational health outcomes.

Funding was provided for WACS-OSP through an assessment of research excellence based on research grant income, number of PhD students supported, and the number of new projects supported by the cohort study over the previous three years.

Successful applicants were awarded funding of up to $500,000 to support activities and infrastructure which are not covered by research grants.
