Inaugural Research Expert Committee to guide the FHRI Fund
The Minister for Medical Research, the Hon Stephen Dawson, today announced the inaugural members of the newly established Future Health Research and Innovation (FHRI) Fund Research Expert Committee. This esteemed group of professionals will provide strategic advice to the Department of Health and the FHRI Fund Advisory Council on critical health and medical research priorities.
The committee was formed following a call for expressions of interest, which attracted responses from some of WA’s leading health and medical research professionals. Members were selected with consideration to ensuring diversity and a balance of experience and expertise.
The committee’s expert guidance will play a pivotal role in shaping decisions that enhance opportunities for WA researchers and aims to position WA as a global leader in health and medical research and innovation.
