FHRI Funding to deliver health system solutions

A total of $2,948,336 ex GST has been awarded to Western Australian innovators through the Targeted Call – Health System Solutions program.
The WA public health system covers the metropolitan, regional and remote areas of the State and each Health Service Provider (HSP) is responsible for the delivery of safe, high quality, efficient and economical health services for their health service area.
This program aims to promote the development of innovative solutions to address unmet health and medical needs or opportunities identified by WA HSPs and facilitate the implementation of developed solutions where these have significant value.
The Targeted Call – Health Systems Solutions program is expected to advance the innovation maturity level of innovative solutions to the WA HSP Business Challenges, establish partnerships with organisations, including healthcare providers, researchers, innovators, industry leaders and community organisations, and drive the scalable implementation and long-term viability of innovative solutions that address WA HSP Business Challenges.
