Future Health Research and Innovation Fund Open Day

FHRI Fund July 2023 Open Day to be held in Geraldton, co-hosted by the WA Country Health Service

The next WA State Government’s Future Health Research and Innovation (FHRI) Fund 2023 Open Day will be held in Geraldton on 4 July. It is an opportunity for the research and innovation community to hear about funding programs and initiatives that are available in the July funding cycle. It is also an opportunity to hear from distinguished speakers about rural and remote health and medical research more broadly. The event will be coordinated by the Department of Health’s Office of Medical Research and Innovation (OMRI) in partnership with the WA Country Health Service (WACHS).

The Open Day will be held at:

Geraldton Universities Centre (GUC)
33 Onslow Street 
Geraldton, Western Australia

The session will run from 10:30am to 2:00pm on Tuesday 4 July 2023.

We encourage participation on the day, either in person or online and tickets can be booked through the Trybooking Event Page.

The event will feature presentations from the Honourable Stephen Dawson MLC, Minister for Medical Research and prominent speakers from the Future Health Research and Innovation (FHRI) Fund Advisory Council, WACHS, the WA Centre for Rural Health and OMRI.
