Golden Ticket 2026
Golden Ticket 2026 aimed to enhance the health and medical innovation knowledge, skills and experience of high-potential WA innovators by providing access to financial support for salary costs, development opportunities, and professional services such as intellectual property (IP), regulatory affairs, and reimbursement expertise. This support enabled participants to validate early ideas and develop the capability to lead the development of innovative ventures that benefit the WA community.
The program was designed to provide a comprehensive package of financial and capacity-building support to successful innovators.
Golden Ticket 2026 was open to WA-based innovators undertaking activities at Innovation Maturity Level (IML) 2 (Idea) to IML 4 (Proof of feasibility or Hit discovery).
Funding amounts up to $300,000 were available to successful innovators, with up to $175,000 available to cover salary costs for an equivalent of 12-months full-time dedicated to the activity over a maximum period of 18-months and a minimum 0.6 full-time equivalent staffing.
