05/09/2024

The next Future Health Research and Innovation (FHRI) Fund Open Day will be held on 25 October 2024 with the theme ‘Partnerships for Regional Health and Wellbeing’ in light of the annual World Mental Health Day, in October.

Hosted by the WA Department of Health’s Office of Medical Research and Innovation (OMRI), in collaboration with the University of Western Australia Albany campus and the WA Country Health Service (WACHS), attendees will have the opportunity to hear about exciting WA health and medical research and innovation initiatives, FHRI Fund programs opening for applications as well as recently awarded FHRI Fund grant recipients.

The event will feature presentations from the Hon. Stephen Dawson MLC, Minister for Medical Research, FHRI Fund Advisory Council Members and prominent speakers from the WA health and medical research and innovation community.

For those attending in person, the event will be followed by an opportunity to network with others in the health and medical research and innovation field over a light lunch.

Attendance may be in-person or online. For those unable to attend, a recording will be available on the FHRI Fund website after the Open Day.

Further details will be sent closer to the date.
