Golden Ticket
Golden Ticket 2026 aims to enhance the health and medical innovation knowledge, skills and experience of high-potential WA innovators, by providing access to financial support to cover salary costs, development opportunities, and professional services (e.g. Intellectual Property (IP), regulatory affairs, reimbursement expertise) so they can validate early ideas and develop their personal capability to lead the development of innovative ventures that will benefit the WA community.
Funding will be provided on a competitive basis to selected innovators, ensuring a comprehensive package of financial and capacity-building support.
Golden Ticket 2026 is open to WA-based innovators undertaking activities at Innovation Maturity Level (IML) 2 (Idea) to IML 4 (Proof of Feasibility or Hit discovery).
Successful innovators will be awarded funding of up to $300,000, with up to $175,000 available to cover salary costs for an equivalent of 12-months full-time dedicated to the Activity, over a maximum period of 18-months and minimum 0.6FTE.
