New partnership renews support to fight leading cause of disease burden in WA

The FHRI Fund has awarded $4.5 million to establish an exciting co-funding partnership with the Cancer Research Trust.
Together, the FHRI Fund and the Cancer Research Trust will invest $9 million to provide the WA Collaborative Cancer Research Grants to support teams of multi-disciplinary researchers to collaborate and generate new and important knowledge for cancer control.
The program will open for applications later in 2025 and will offer $1 million per year over 5-years with the potential for renewal for an additional four years. The Cancer Research Trust will administer the grant program, with further information to be made available on the Cancer Research Trust website.
