FHRI funding to improve the lives of people living with Cystic Fibrosis
A total of $1.91 million has been awarded to 9 Western Australian Cystic Fibrosis researchers across 4 streams:
- Postgraduate Top-up Scholarships
- Research Innovation Grants
- Fellowships
- Collaborative Grant
The 2025 WA Cystic Fibrosis Research Collaborative Program is co-funded by the Future Health Research and Innovation (FHRI) Fund and Cystic Fibrosis WA, in collaboration with Conquer Cystic Fibrosis.
The co-funding partnership supports researchers to explore innovative solutions to improve the lives of people affected by cystic fibrosis.

Recipients were assessed on merit by the Australian Cystic Fibrosis Research Trust and administered by Cystic Fibrosis Australia.
