FHRI Fund bolsters WA funding success in national NCRIS program
A $1 million contribution has been awarded to Ozgene PTY Ltd and the Animal Resources Centre through the Major Research Application Support (MRAS) Program.
The Animal Resources Centre has been a critical resource for the biomedical research community in Australia and internationally for over 40 years and this funding support ensures the continuation of this valuable platform for health and medical research.
The MRAS program funded by the Future Health Research and Innovation Fund, provides cash commitments for applications to relevant major competitive research funding programs (External Programs) that explicitly require co-funding.
MRAS aims to promote high-quality research, enable opportunities for the translation of research findings into new knowledge and improved human health and wellbeing and enhance WA’s standing as a leader in health and medical research.
