Seven cohort studies will receive funding through the inaugural WA Cohort Studies-Operational Support Program (WACS-OSP).
The WACS-OSP aims to provide operational funding necessary for cohort studies to continue to contribute to the delivery of clinical outcomes, changes to health policy and translational health outcomes.
The program funded by the Future Health Research and Innovation Fund, is providing grants based on an assessment of research excellence which will be based on eligible research grant income, number of PhD students supported, and the number of new projects supported by the cohort study over the previous three years.
